Tent Church on the Beach
We are always seeking ways to deepen our connection with those we minister to and give an opportunity for them to deepen their connection with their Father in heaven and to hear more about who their Father in Heaven truly is. Many of them do not feel comfortable and feel judged entering a traditional church. So, we hold church on the beach. It is a way for us to spend time with them away from the street, where we can share a message, teach and just give them a space to be themselves and be cared for.
We serve cold drinks, cookies and brownies, in a three-sided tent that faces the ocean. No one is looking at them, or yelling comments and they can sit and be served.
Many of them say they feel different the minute they enter and leave with a sense of peace.
